You cannot fucking shut down McQueen

I know the man is dead, but that doesnt mean you completely shut him out of fashion history. There will never be another Alex, but for fucks sake, look at how well other houses are functioning post-death of their original founders... Dior, Balenciaga, YSL, Chanel and Burberry being a few "living" examples.

It took me a long time to write this because i am neither fashionably pimped out nor enough of a fashion victim to fully grasp the design genius of a fashion designer. Most clothes i see on the runways at fashion weeks cannot actually be worn by a regular or above-average size person; so i'd rather rant about fashion than be happy about its existence.

In the same breath, there are a few fabulous creative geniuses out there whose work truly stands out, despite the garments in question not being fat/big-boob friendly.

Alexander McQueen waS one of those super fabs, whose vibrant, Lady GaGa inspired collections will not be forgotten in a hurry.
